1-Arden, Kaarla Wood-Fire Grill and Bar

Our first recommendation is located 51 floors above ground on the rooftop of CapitaSpring: Kaarla Wood-Fire Grill and Bar presents both a fabulous view as well as robust Australian-Japanese flavours. If you’re tired of being indoors, Kaarla also offers the option of al-fresco dining at their rooftop bar with both an amazing view as well as cool comforting evening breezes. 

Just like the fireworks, Kaarla offers a burst of flavours with their 4-course National Day menu ($138++ per pax). As a rooftop bar and grill, Kaarla is known for their open-fire cooking. With dishes such as Wood-Fire Grilled Hokkaido Scallop and Grain-Fed Black Angus served with grilled artichoke, the menu is sure to satisfy a craving for richer flavours.

1-Arden – Oumi 

Situated right next door to Kaarla, the stunning view of Singapore’s iconic skyline from sister restaurant Oumi is sure to impress. Serving contemporary Japanese ‘Kappo’ cuisine, Oumi offers an elevated culinary experience, in more ways than one. 

With Oumi’s height advantage and sophisticated interior, a seat right next to their floor-to-ceiling windows guarantees an unblocked view of the fireworks. In celebration of National Day, Oumi will be serving a 4-course National Day menu ($188++ per pax), which features dishes such the Taraba Gani Bouillabaisse, showcasing fresh seasonal ingredients like Japanese King Crab, Spiny Lobster and Hokkaido Scallop – premium ingredients befitting of the celebratory occasion.

Altro Zafferano

For a fantastic fireworks view over the Marina Bay skyline, consider Altro Zafferano. The restaurant sits on the 43rd floor of the Ocean Financial Centre skyscraper, offering a magnificent 270-degree panoramic view of the city. For those chasing the best vantage point, choose a seat at their al-fresco terrace lounge for front-row seats to the show. With a backdrop of the sweeping city skyline accompanied by great modern Italian cuisine, this convivial relaxed atmosphere is the perfect place to relax and unwind with a meal. 

Their National Day 6-course dinner menu ($248++) elegantly blends in local flavours with Italian dishes as a tribute to our Nation’s birthday, presenting dishes such as Pan Seared Hokkaido Scallop with Laksa Oil and Pandan Tiramisu. Best of all, booking early means you’ll be able to nab their early bird promotion (National Day 6-course menu at $198++) – the same exquisite menu for a more attractive price!

Monti

Our last recommendation for the night offers a dazzling waterfront view of the fireworks. Located at the Fullerton Pavillion, Monti is the perfect place to catch the fireworks against a gorgeous bayfront scene. Between their al-fresco dining and indoor sitting with floor-to-ceiling windows showcasing a 180-degree view of Marina Bay – there is surely something for everyone. 

Presenting stunning views and an award-winning dining experience, Monti is perfect for those looking for a night of luxury under the show in the sky. To commemorate Singapore’s birthday, Monti is offering a special 5-course menu ($288++) from 7.30pm onwards – the perfect time to catch the fireworks. With items such as Acquerello Risotto with Rock Lobster and Wood-Fired Wagyu Beef Tenderloin MBS 9, indulge in an exquisite dining experience and breathtaking views.

But the festivities don’t have to last just one day. With locally inspired cocktails (3 for $60++) available from 1 August to 30 September, lift your spirits as high as the fireworks display, because what is a celebration without a good drink right?
